Professor Ian Alexander invited to present in Geneva

Prof. Ian Alexander was invited to speak at the SSIEM (Society for the Study of Inborn Errors of Metabolism) Conference held in Geneva, Switzerland (30 August 2011 – 2 September 2011). Prof Alexander presented an overview of gene therapy for metabolic disorders especially ornithine-transcarbamylase deficiency.

The aim of the society is to foster study of inherited metabolic disorders and related topics. The society was founded in 1963 and aims to promote exchange of ideas between professional workers in different disciplines who are interested in inherited metabolic disease.
